It’s an incredibly unfortunate reality in today’s world that there are con artists and scammers who instead of trying their best to become productive members of society, seek to one-up hard-working employees through illegal get-rich-quick schemes and other blatant scams. On that note, here are some of the steps one must take after being victimized by scammers.

1. Call the nearest consumer protection office.

2. Notify other non-government agencies such as the Better Business Bureau and Fraud.org.
